CARAMEL DUMPLINGS 
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. water
1 tbsp. butter
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine brown sugar, water and butter; boil 5 minutes. Mix flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and butter. Add milk and vanilla. Drop by spoonful into hot syrup and bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve hot with milk.
