YELLOW PINEAPPLE CAKE 
1 yellow cake mix
1 can crushed pineapple
1 c. sugar
Lg. pkg. vanilla instant pudding
Lg. container of whipped topping (Cool Whip)

Follow directions on cake mix package and bake in 9 x 13 pan. After taking cake out of oven, leave cake in pan. Do the following while cake is hot:

Use handle of a round plastic or wooden spoon to punch pencil size holes all over top of cake about 1-inch apart. Bring crushed pineapple and sugar to a boil in a medium saucepan. Pour pineapple mixture all over hot cake. Cool in icebox.
