8 c. flour 1 lb. lard 4 eggs 1 tbsp. butter 1 1/2 c. sugar 1 1/2 c. milk 6 tbsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. anise oil Mix dough as for pies. Roll out 1/4 inch thick. Cut in Christmas forms. Bake in 350 degree oven for 13 minutes. When cool frost with thin mixture of confectioners' sugar, milk and vanilla. Sprinkle while frosting is still wet with colored sugars. |
