HOT FUDGE CAKE AND SAUCE 
1/2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
2 whole eggs
2 c. plain flour
Dash of salt
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda dissolved in 1 c. boiling water
1 tbsp. cold water
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter, sugar, cocoa, eggs and other ingredients in order given. Pour in sheet pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

SAUCE:

1 lg. pkg. chocolate chips
3/4 stick butter
1 lb. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 lg. can Pet milk

Cook on medium heat until thick, this can be stored in refrigerator. Makes 1 quart.

Cut cake in squares, cut in two, put ice cream between layers and pour hot sauce on top.
