ASPARAGUS ROLLS 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
4 oz. blue cheese, crumbled
1 egg, well beaten
1 can asparagus spears, drained
Thin sliced white bread
1 stick melted butter
Horseradish to taste
Bacon bits

Mix cream cheese with blue cheese and add egg. Add horseradish to taste (couple teaspoons). Pour liquid off spears and lay them on paper towels to absorb excess liquid. Count number spears (18 to 20) and count same number slices of bread.

Trim crusts off bread and roll each piece flat with a rolling pin. Spread some cheese mixture on each piece. Sprinkle with bacon bits. Roll up one spear on each slice of bread and secure with toothpicks. Dip in or brush with melted butter and place in shallow baking pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
