LADY FINGERS 
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. almond extract

Beat sugar and eggs until thoroughly blended and cream colored. Sift dry ingredients together and slowly add to egg mixture. Stir in almond extract.

Grease and flour cookie sheets. Drop batter by spoonfuls, shaping it 3 inches long and 1 inch wide, 1 1/2 inches apart. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 10 minutes or until light brown. Remove from oven. Remove lady fingers onto cake racks to cool.
