BUTTERED HORN ROLLS 
1 pkg. dry yeast
1/3 c. water (warm)
1/2 c. scalded milk
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
2 1/4 c. flour

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Dissolve yeast in warm water. Cool milk and add it to egg, salt and sugar. Mix. Add flour and yeast. Mix and knead on floured surface. Cover. Let rise until doubled in size (approximately 1 hour). Roll with rolling pin into a circle on a floured surface. Cut into pie shapes. Brush with melted butter. Roll into crescent shapes starting from large end. Place on baking sheet, cover and let rise approximately 45 minutes. Bake 15 minutes in 400 degree oven.
