NEVER FAIL DUMPLINGS | |
1 1/2 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 3 tbsp. shortening 1 egg, beaten 5 tbsp. water Cut shortening into flour and salt. Beat egg and water together and add flour to form a ball. Roll out very thin and cut into 2" squares. Drop into boiling chicken broth. Cook until done, being careful not to break dumplings when stirring. |
