3 c. plain flour
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 tbsp. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring

Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs one at a time. Mix well and add buttermilk and vanilla flavoring.

Mix in large bowl, flour, salt and soda; add to creamed mixture slowly until all is mixed together. Spray cookie sheet with Pam and drop cookies onto sheet with spoon. Flatten with bottom of spoon and bake until golden brown. Take out and put on cooling rack until cooled.
