SHIPWRECK CASSEROLE 
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 lb. ground beef, sauteed lightly
3 or 4 sm. potatoes, diced
1/2 c. celery, diced
1/4 c. rice, uncooked
1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, chopped
Salt & pepper to taste

In large casserole put onions and potatoes, a little salt, then add beef and more salt and pepper. Add celery, then rice and a little salt. Add beans, then tomatoes on top. Bake at 350 degrees about 1 1/2 hours.
