RUSSIAN CREAM | |
1 c. heavy cream 3/4 c. sugar 1 1/2 tsp. gelatin 2 tbsp. cold water 1 c. sour cream Fresh strawberries (or other fruit) 1. Combine cream and sugar and heat in the top of a double boiler. 2. Soak the gelatin in the cold water for five minutes. Add to the cream and stir until dissolved. Remove from heat and cool. 3. Beat sour cream and fold into gelatin and cream mixture. 4. Pour into individual molds and chill until firm. 5. Unmold and serve with fresh strawberries. Serves 4. |
