ORANGE COOKIES 
1 c. butter (1/2 lb.)
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. orange juice
4 1/2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda

FROSTING:

1 box confectioners' sugar
Juice and grated rind of an orange
1 tsp. soft butter or a little yellow coloring

Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, one at a time. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with liquids. Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for about 10 minutes.

Frosting: Combine ingredients and spread on the cookies.
