GRANDMA WOLF'S LEMON BARS | |
2 c. flour 1/2 c. confectioners' sugar, sifted 1 c. butter 4 eggs, beaten 2 c. sugar 1/3 c. lemon juice 1/4 c. flour 1/2 tsp. baking powder Sift together flour and confectioners' sugar, cut in butter until mixture clings together. Press into 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until lightly brown. Beat eggs, sugar together and add lemon juice, mix thoroughly. Sift together 1/4 cup flour and baking powder, stir this into the egg mixture. Pour this entire mixture over the baked crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar, cool and cut into bars. Makes 30. |
