CHEESE BISCUITS 
10 oz. cheddar cheese, shredded
1 c. butter
2 c. flour, sifted
2 c. crisp rice cereal
3 dashes red pepper

Cheese and butter should be at room temperature. Blend these together with mixer; add flour. Stir in cereal and pepper. Drop by teaspoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet and mash flat. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Place on paper towels until cool.

Variation: 2 c. flour 1 3/4 c. crisp rice cereal 1 tsp. salt

Follow same preparation procedure as above. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Yields 8 dozen.
