ITALIAN MEAT SAUCE - FOR
SPAGHETTI
 
1 c. chopped onion
1 lb. ground beef
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (1 lb. 14 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes, cut up
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1/4 c. snipped parsley
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. monosodium glutamate
1 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
1/4 tsp. dried thyme
1 bay leaf

1. Brown the ground beef.

2. Place all ingredients in pot and simmer uncovered for 3 hours or until sauce is thick.
