SAUSAGE ALMOND CASSEROLE 
2 lb. sausage
2 lg. onions, chopped
1 bunch celery, diced
1 lg. green pepper, chopped
1/2 c. slivered almonds
2 c. raw rice
3 pkg. Lipton dehydrated chicken noodle soup
9 c. boiling water

Fry sausage until brown. Pour off excess fat. Saute onion, celery, green pepper. Add rice. Add boiling water to soup. Combine all ingredients in casserole dish. Place almonds in oven to roast and then pour over top. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Remove cover and continue to bake for 15 minutes. Serves 15; makes 2 large casseroles.
