APPLE CHEESE CAKE OR PIE 
1 stick butter
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
Square 9x9 pan

FILLING:

8 oz. cream cheese
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. sugar
1 can Comstock apple pie filling

Crust: Soften butter. Add remaining ingredients then press bottom and sides of pan with dough and set aside.

Blend softened cream cheese, egg, vanilla and sugar well. Pour this into pie crust, then spoon apple filling in mixture (don't stir).

Preheat oven to 450 degrees and cook for 10 minutes. Lower to 400 degrees and cook for 20 minutes. Cool and refrigerate.

This is a very easy recipe and I guarantee this will be a favorite.
