CHOCOLATE COVERED CHERRY CAKE | |
1 chocolate fudge cake mix 1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling 1 tsp. almond extract 2 beaten eggs Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan. Combine ingredients, pour into pan and spread. Bake 25 to 30 minutes. FROSTING: 1 c. white sugar 5 tbsp. butter 1/3 c. milk 6 oz. chocolate chips Combine sugar, butter and milk in pan, bring to a boil, stirring constantly for 1 minute. Take from heat, stir in chocolate chips. Let cool, cool cake slightly but spread warm, then refrigerate. |
