SPAGHETTI SAUCE | |
2 lb. hamburger 1 lb. spicy Italian sausage 1 1/2 c. chopped onion 3 sm. cloves garlic 3 tbsp. salad oil 2 (29 oz.) cans tomatoes 1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste 4 beef bouillon cubes 3 c. water 2 tbsp. sugar 2 tsp. oregano 1 tsp. basil Salt to taste 1/4 tsp. pepper 3 bay leaves Brown hamburger, sausage and onion in oil. Add remaining ingredients and simmer several hours. After cooking add 2 (6 ounce) cans mushrooms, drained and 1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese. |
