"HOMEMADE" APPLE PIE 
Take as thick white bread as you can find, cut off all edges.

Take 9x13 inch pan (Pyrex) oblong dish and spray with Pam.

Cover entire bottom with edged white bread. Spread 2 cups of already prepared apple pie filling over all the bread. Then make another layer of white bread over entire top.

TOPPING:

Melt:

In bowl mix: 3 tbsp. plain flour 1 egg

Add melted butter (cooled). Stir all together. Spread over the last layer of bread. Let this sit 10 or 15 minutes. Then cook in a 350 degree oven until brown on top.

Serve plain or with whipped cream or Cool Whip or vanilla ice cream. 8 to 10 servings. (Cut in squares to serve.) Lift out with spatula.
