BANANA SLUSH | |
4 c. sugar 6 c. water 1 (46 oz.) can pineapple juice 1 (46 oz.) can orange juice 5-6 bananas, mashed (cover with lemon juice) 1/2 c. lemon juice 5 qts. ginger ale or 7-Up, chilled Combine sugar and water in a saucepan; bring to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves. Cool. Pour sugar mixture into a 5 quart container. Stir in next 4 ingredients and freeze until firm. Remove mixture from freezer 1-2 hours before serving (mixture should be slushy). Pour into punch bowl and stir in ginger ale. Yields 2 1/2 gallons. |
