WHITE SALAD 
40 Ritz crackers, crushed
1 c. crushed walnuts
1 1/4 c. white sugar
4 egg whites
1 lg. box Dream Whip (2 env.)
1 lg. Philadelphia cream cheese
1 lg. can crushed pineapple, drained
5 or 6 oz. jar maraschino cherries, cut up

Beat egg whites until fluffy. Gradually add sugar and beat until stiff (use mixer). Add crackers and nuts with spoon, pour into buttered long pan. Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool.

Whip topping as directed on box, blend in cream cheese, pineapple. Spread over cool crust, sprinkle with nuts and cherries (maraschino). Use 15"x9" pan.
