FRIED APPLE PIE 
2 c. dried apples
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cinnamon

Cook apples into a mush, mash well. Add sugar, allspice and cinnamon. Set aside.

DOUGH:

4 c. self-rising flour
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. Crisco

Knead well, roll out thin. Shape dough into the size of a saucer. Put enough apple mixture onto the dough to cover half. Take the other half of dough and cover up apples. Fry in shortening until brown on each side.
