FRIED APPLE PIES 
FILLING:

2 c. dried apples
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. water

Wash, dry, peel and slice apples 1/4 inch thick. Evenly spread on double thickness white paper towels. Microwave on low (30 degrees) until dry. All moisture will be out. Rearrange several times. Store in glass jars.

Cook dried apples with water 15 minutes, add sugar and cinnamon. Cool, mash fruit.

Mix dough with fork, pat out on floured board (small amount). Roll out and cut around a sauce. Pour about 1 inch Crisco oil in skillet. Heat to 375 degrees.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
