MIKE'S SALISBURY STEAK 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 egg, beaten
1 env. Lipton's French Onion Soup
2 tbsp. catsup
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
Salt & pepper to taste
Garlic powder to taste (opt.)
1 can mushroom soup

Combine all ingredients except mushroom soup in order listed; mix well. Form into 6 to 8 patties and roll lightly in flour. Brown in hot oil.

Mix can of soup and 1 can of water together and pour over meat patties. Simmer, covered for 45 to 50 minutes. Serve over rice or noodles or with potatoes. Patties may be topped with a slice of cheese during last 5 minutes of cooking for an added treat.
