SAUSAGE CASSEROLE | |
2 lbs. crumbled breakfast sausage 8 oz. cheese (American, Velveeta, grate your favorite) 2 c. grated Parmesan cheese 1 qt. of milk 8 eggs 12 slices of buttered toast (Roman Meal) Grease and line a 9x13 inch pan with bread crumbs. Place layer of toast. Brown and drain sausage, put thin layer of sausage and cheese on toast, repeat process until all is used, two layers each. Beat eggs with salt and pepper and milk. Pour over casserole and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes. Serves 12. |
