DEVILED CRAB 
3 tbsp. butter
1 c. soft bread crumbs
1 sm. onion, minced
1/2 sm. green pepper, cored and chopped
1 lb. crabmeat, flaked, shelled
1 egg
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

Melt the butter in a skillet. In a small bowl, blend 1 tbsp. of the melted butter with 2/3 cup of the bread crumbs. Set aside.

Add the onion and green pepper and cook in butter five minutes. Mix crabmeat, 1/3 cup bread crumbs, egg, mayonnaise, cayenne pepper and stir into the onion and green pepper. Spoon mixture into greased au gratin dishes. Preheat oven 350 degrees and bake 25-30 minutes.
