1 (No. 2) size can sliced beets
1/4 c. vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. cloves
Dash of pepper

Drain juice from beets. Adding remaining ingredients, bring to a boil. Pour over beets. Set in refrigerator to chill and season overnight.
