12 slices bread 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese 6 eggs 2 c. milk 1/4 c. butter, melted 1 1/2 c. chipped cooked ham Blend in mixing bowl, eggs, milk and butter. Place 6 slices bread in bottom of 9 x 13 inch Pyrex baking dish. Sprinkle 2/3 cup cheese and ham over bread. Cover with 2/3 egg mixture. Top with 6 slices bread. Sprinkle 1/3 cup cheese on top of bread. Pour remaining egg mixture over top. Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes. Remove foil the last 10 minutes of baking time to brown. |
