VEGETABLE BEEF SOUP 
1 lb. cubed beef, browned
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 (14 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes
1 can mixed vegetables
1 (6 oz.) can tomato juice

Brown meat in a large pot with onion, salt and pepper to taste. Continue cooking until onion is tender. Drain. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil then reduce heat. Cover and let simmer for 10 minutes.
