ANGEL BISCUITS 
5 c. self rising flour
1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
2 pkgs. yeast
1/4 c. water
1 c. Crisco
2 c. buttermilk

Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water. Cut shortening into flour, stir in remaining ingredients. Use dough as you need. Roll 1" thick. Cut and bake at 425 degrees. Refrigerate remainder of dough. Will keep several days. The biscuits are soft even when warmed over.
