STREUSEL COFFEE CAKE 
2 cakes yeast
1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 c. lukewarm water
1 tbsp. sugar
6 tbsp. lard or butter
1 c. scalded milk

Dissolve yeast and 1 tablespoon sugar in lukewarm liquid. Add milk and 3 cups flour. Beat until smooth. Add melted fat and 1/2 cup sugar, eggs, salt and enough flour to make a soft dough. Knead lightly. Set to rise 2 hours or twice its size. Put into greased pans and press into corners. Brush with beaten egg yolks and vanilla. Sprinkle with Streusel and cinnamon.

Streusel:

1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
