MEXICAN PRAIRIE HOT DISH | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 c. chopped onion 2 tbsp. shortening 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 (16 oz.) can cream style corn 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of tomato soup 1/3 c. water 1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese 1 can chow mein noodles Brown the meat and onion in the shortening. Mix in the salt, pepper, corn, soup, water and cheese. Turn into 2 quart shallow casserole. Top with the chow mein noodles. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serves 4-6. |
