BAKING POWDER BISCUITS 
2 c. flour, sifted
2 tbsp. baking powder
1/4 c. non-fat dry milk powder
2 tsp. sugar
3 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. water plus 1 or 2 tbsp. if needed

Blend flour, baking powder, milk powder, and sugar in mixing bowl. Cut in butter until fat is size of peas. Add liquid all at once and mix only until all flour is dampened. Knead gently on lightly floured surface. Roll or pat to 1 inch thickness. Cut into round shaped with pastry cutter and place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 12-15 minutes at 400 degrees.
