1 c. sugar
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. butter
1 c. salad oil
2 eggs
4 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. almond extract

Combine all ingredients well. Chill dough. Drop by teaspoonfuls or roll balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten each cookie with a glass dipped in sugar. Sprinkle with plain, red, or green decorator sugar. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Cookies will look light on top and lightly brown on bottom when done. Don't over cook.
