CHARLIE BROWN PUDDING 
1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. turbinado sugar
1 tbsp. carob powder
1/4 c. milk
1 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. chopped nuts

TOPPING:

1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
2 tbsp. carob powder
2/3 c. boiling water

Sift together flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and carob powder. Melt butter over low heat in a small saucepan. Add to flour mixture along with the milk and vanilla. Mix, just enough to combine ingredients. Fold in nuts. Pour into baking dish, spreading evenly. For topping, combine the brown sugar and carob powder. Sprinkle over the dough. DO NOT STIR IN! Gently pour the boiling water over the top. DO NOT STIR IN! Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
