SUMMER SQUASH PATTIES 
1 1/2 c. self rising flour
1/2 tsp. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt and pepper to taste
1/2 c. sour cream
1 egg
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
3 c. chopped yellow squash
1 med. onion, chopped

Combine first 6 ingredients, beating until smooth. Stir in squash, add onion and pepper. Drop mixture by tablespoons into greased skillet, fry until golden brown, turning once. Drain.
