CHOCOLATE WHOLE WHEAT BROWNIES | |
2 c. whole wheat flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 2 c. soft butter 2 2/3 c. sugar 1 1/2 c. cocoa 1/2 c. butter 8 eggs 4 tsp. vanilla 4 c. chopped nuts (optional) Mix flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in chocolate, eggs, and vanilla; Stir in flour mixture and half of the nuts. Spread in large greased cake pan. Bake at 325 degrees until done, approximately 20 minutes. Makes 62 (2 inch) squares. |
