CHESS PIE 
1/4 lb. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. cornmeal

Melt butter and add sugar. Add vinegar and cornmeal. Slightly beat 3 eggs and add to mixture. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla. Bake 5 minutes at 425 degrees, reduce heat to 300 degrees and bake 40 minutes.
