CHICKEN ELEGANTE | |
2 c. cooked chicken, diced 1/4 c. butter 1/4 c. flour 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup 1/4 c. blue cheese, crumbled 1/2 tsp. dried marjoram 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese 1 pkg. frozen broccoli, cooked and drained and chopped 1 c. dairy sour cream 1/4 c. buttered bread crumbs - crushed potato chips Paprika - salt - pepper 1. Melt butter in large saucepan, stir in flour and cook a minute or two. Gradually stir in soup, blue cheese, marjoram, half of Parmesan cheese and the chicken and broccoli. Heat to just under boiling, remove from heat and stir in sour cream. Season to taste. 2. Pour into a casserole and top with remaining Parmesan cheese mixed with the buttered crumbs or potato chops. 3. Sprinkle with paprika and bake in a 350 degree oven for 20 minutes or until browned and bubbly. Serves 6. |
