INDIAN CORN STEW | |
2 med. onions, finely chopped 1/2 green pepper, finely chopped 2 tbsp. butter 1 lb. ground beef 1 (No. 2) can whole kernel corn 1 can cream of tomato soup 1 med. can tomatoes 2 tsp. sugar 1 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. flour blended with 2 tbsp. water Cook onion and green pepper in frying pan with butter for 5 minutes. Add meat and allow to brown well, stirring frequently. Add corn, soup, sugar and salt. Simmer about 15 minutes, stir in blended flour and water, cook a few minutes more and then serve. |
