NORTH CAROLINA GRILLED CHICKEN 
2 chickens, cut in half lengthwise
1 c. butter
2 env. (6 oz. each) Italian salad dressing mix
1/2 c. lime juice
1 tsp. salt

Melt butter in saucepan. Stir in salad dressing mix, lime juice and salt. Marinate chicken in sauce 3 to 4 hours or overnight. Place chicken on outdoor grill. Brush with sauce. Cook approximately 1 hour or until done, turning and brushing with sauce every 10 to 15 minutes. Serves 2 to 4.
