GREEN CHILE PIE | |
1 lb. lean ground beef 1 clove garlic, minced 1 med. sized onion, chopped Approximately 8 soft tortillas, corn or flour 1 lb. Velveeta 1 can cream of chicken soup 1/2 soup can of milk 2 sm. cans green chilies Brown ground beef with garlic and onion. Drain excess grease. Melt Velveeta into top of double boiler. Add soup, milk, and green chilies. Mix well. Cut tortillas in fourths. Alternate layers of tortillas, meat mixture and cheese mixture in rectangular baking dish. Be sure to end up with cheese mixture on top. Cover with foil. Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees. |
