CONGO SQUARES 
1 lb. box brown sugar
2/3 c. butter
3 eggs
2 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. nuts
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Combine brown sugar with butter. Stir over low heat until melted. Cool and beat in 3 eggs one at a time. Add dry ingredients, nuts and chocolate chips. Pour in a greased 10 x 14 inch pan. Bake 25-30 minutes at 350 degrees.
