HOT FUDGE PUDDING CAKE 
1-1/4 c. sugar, divided
1 c. all purpose flour
1/2 c. cocoa, divided
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1/3 c. butter
1-1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1/2 c. brown sugar
1-1/2 c. hot water

Preheat oven. Combine 3/4 cup sugar, flour, 1/4 cup cocoa, baking powder and salt. Add milk, butter and vanilla; mix well. Pour into a 9 in. sq. pan. Combine remaining sugar, remaining cocoa, and brown sugar. Sprinkle over batter. Carefully pour hot water over top of sugar mixture. Do Not Stir!!

Bake 35-40 minutes until almost set. Remove from oven and let set for 15 minutes.

Serve with ice cream or whipped cream. This recipe can be doubled.

Makes 6-8 servings.
