TERRI'S VERSION OF HOT FUDGE
PUDDING CAKE
 
1 1/2 c. chocolate cake mix (or 1 box Jiffy Devil's Food cake mix)
1/2 c. milk
1 c. sugar (brown or white)
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 3/4 c. hot water

Butter an 8-inch square pan. Mix cake mix and milk (by hand is fine) and pour into pan. Mix sugar and cocoa, and sprinkle over cake batter. Pour hot water gently over top of mixture. DO NOT MIX. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

Have everything in the pan but the hot water. Just before sitting down to dinner, add hot water and pop in the oven. Cooks while you eat. Serve hot over your favorite ice cream. Eat it fast before the ice cream melts and so you can have seconds!
