APPLE PIZZA 
PASTRY:

2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. shortening
5-7 tbsp. cold water

FILLING:

7 med. apples
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

TOPPING:

3/4 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter

Mix flour and salt in bowl, cut in shortening. Stir in water and make as pie dough. Roll out and place on a 15-inch circular pizza pan. Flute edges. Peel and core apples. Leave whole. Place in a spiral effect around pizza pan. Sprinkle sugar and spices for topping. Combine flour and sugar, cut in butter. Sprinkle over pizza. Bake at 450 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Serves 8-10.
