MOM'S CHINESE HAMBURGER CRUNCH 
1 lb. hamburger
1/2 c. uncooked rice
1 c. diced celery
1 c. diced onion
1 can drained, rinsed bean sprouts
1/4 to 1/3 c. soy sauce
1 can cream of celery soup
1 1/2 soup cans of water
1 can water chestnuts slices, drained
Chow mein noodles - lg. pkg.

Brown hamburger and drain well. Add onion and celery and brown a bit. Add soups, water, soy sauce, water chestnuts, rice and bean sprouts. Bake, covered, at 425 degrees for 1 1/2 hours, then cover top with chow mein noodles and bake, uncovered, 15 minutes more. Can be cooked on top of stove 1/2 hour or so, covered, and serve over the noodles.
