PRETZEL SALAD 
CRUST:

1 (9 oz.) pkg. crushed salted pretzels
3/4 c. butter, melted
3 tbsp. sugar

Mix together crushed pretzels, butter, and sugar. Press into a greased 9x13 inch pan and bake 15 minutes in 400 degree oven.

FILLING:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 c. sugar
2 c. Cool Whip
1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
2 c. boiling water
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen sliced strawberries
Diced apple, peeled

Mix together cream cheese and sugar; add Cool whip. Spread over cooled pretzel mix. Mix together jello and water; add frozen or fresh strawberries. Chill until syrupy. Pour over cheese mixture and refrigerate until ready to serve. Cut into squares and serve.
