HAMBURGER STEW | |
2 to 3 med. potatoes, peeled 2 to 3 carrots 2 onions, sliced 1 stalk celery, diced 1 lb. hamburger, browned and drained 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 can sweet peas, drained with liquid reserved Slice the potatoes in bottom of crock pot. Add salt and pepper to taste. Slice the carrots on top of potatoes. Add the peas. Slice the onions on top of peas and add the celery. Put browned hamburger over celery. Mix liquid from peas and the can of mushroom soup together and pour over top of hamburger. Cook about 6 hours on low or 1 1/2 hours, covered, in oven at 325 degrees. Makes 4 to 6 servings. |
